About Fit Zone

Back in December 2006, we opened as Sonz Exercise at Howell Mill introducing the group training phenomenon to the quaint neighborhood located near Westside Atlanta.   Along with our mission to provide "Hard Exercise That Works" we became an official CrossFit affiliate in August 2007, once again forging elite fitness in the area.

Since 2007, we have moved to the Gillespi Business Park and become an independently owned fitness facility, Fit Zone.  In addition to our affiliate program, CrossFit Euphoria, our new location helps identify the type of culture and fitness program we want to embody.  Our new facility is a no-frills facility.  It is a clean, well maintained intimate space for serious exercisers that don’t mind working for their well-deserved results.   When you enter the "Fit Zone," you will be ready to take on challenging workouts with the help of no-nonsense professional and experienced coaches.  When you finish your CrossFit workout, you can expect a feeling of “euphoria”.  According to the dictionary, euphoria means, “a feeling of happiness, confidence, or well-being sometimes exaggerated in pathological states as mania.”  Our definition is simply “the feeling you get from your Fit Zone workout.” 

Never worry about getting bored or reaching a plateau!  We constantly vary our exercise programs while timing and tracking your workouts so there is room for competition and goal-setting at every level.  We also remain deeply committed to building our community by providing a fun environment for all of your friends and family to enjoy!

There’s more to success than just trying harder. We know we should “try harder” at many different things (exercise, eating healthier, saving more) - yet we often struggle to achieve results.

People who excel at Fit Zone are those who value simplicity, structure, and support.

Simplicity- When you enter the gym, right away you’ll notice the absence of machines, magazines, tanning beds, requests for referrals, or other distractions that typically waste time and decrease productivity.  Instead, our focus is on you. We present clear movements and techniques that allow you to progress in a way that is safe, yet still pushes your limits.

Structure-If you take a moment to look at some of our daily workouts, you will appreciate the variety our members experience.  Since we choose not to recycle workouts, there is a great deal of planning and design that goes into each workout to ensure balance on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.

As coaches, we tailor the daily workout to your individual abilities and needs. In addition we also monitor short term and long term performance to better guide your progress.  Anyone can design a workout that is difficult.  We design workouts that make you better.

Support- When you train with like-minded people there is an energy that fills the room.  It doesn’t matter if you are in your golden years or your teens. The fact is, you are motivated to work harder when people around you are doing the same.
In addition to peer support, CrossFit is founded on a culture of coaching.  From daily coaching and guidance inside the gym to providing support outside the gym, our coaches are available to help you meet your goals.  At CrossFit this is the norm, not an add-on.

Many people have a common misperception that what you achieve here is defined by your physical ability, age, or gender.  We will get an understanding of you, your goals, your limitations, if any, and design a program that is right for you.  The only prerequisite is: you have to want it.


When you are ready, we are with you.  Be careful, however, CrossFit Euphoria is highly addictive.

We offer a one hour complimentary session that enables you to:

  • meet the coaches and get a feel for the workout environment
  • learn how we can modify any workout to meet your fitness level
  • try a workout firsthand (workout gear and water bottle required)
  • ask questions about our facility and program.

What about Personal Training?
